賢者の選択 (Kenja no Sentaku) / The Choice of Gifted Leaders
AvePoint’s CEO & Co-Founder TJ is interviewed on ‘Kenja no Sentaku’ (Choice of Gifted Leaders) about the history, growth, and direction of the company. As a part of this segment, I had a short feature on the importance of culture-building in the Tokyo office for camaraderie and knowledge sharing, such as “Happy Hour” on Fridays. While this seems like is a common feature of Western offices, introducing it to the Tokyo office was an unusual break from tradition in Japan where business and ‘nomikai’ (after-work happy hours) are commonly clearly separated.
